Attend your graduation ceremony

Information about ticketing, guests and regalia for your graduation ceremony.

I do not wish to attend the ceremony

If you do not wish to attend the ceremony you do not need to take any further action. You will graduate ‘in absentia’. All eligible students graduate automatically. Students graduating ‘in absentia’ will receive their academic documents in the post in April. Please ensure you keep your postal address updated by informing your College Registrar of any changes before 2 March 2018.

How to register to attend the ceremony

Registration for the ceremony is provided by Reed Graduation Services (Reed).

First, read our GRADUATION REGISTRATION GUIDE – How to use the Reed website. This will help guide you through the multi-step online process.

On the Reed website you can:

  1. register to attend the ceremony
  2. book (hire or purchase) your graduation regalia
  3. book your two guest tickets
  4. pre-book a portrait photography session
  5. order University of Divinity merchandise

Note: ALL graduands must complete the registration section of the website. If you book regalia or guest tickets without completing the registration section you will not be on the list to attend.

Registration opening dates

  • Registration opens: Wednesday 21 February 2018
  • Registration closes: Friday 9 March 2018

Guest tickets

Each graduating student is allocated two guest tickets, which can be booked through the Reed Graduation Services website. There is no cost for guest tickets. Family and friends who cannot attend the ceremony can watch a live video stream. The link will be available on the front page of our website on the evening of the ceremony.

Collecting your regalia

You will collect your regalia on the day of your graduation ceremony. Please refer to your invitation email for collection times and locations.

Please present your graduand registration ticket when you come to collect your regalia. The person gowning you on the day of your graduation will check to make sure that your gown and hat are the right sizes.

Hired regalia must be returned to the collection point by 10pm after the conclusion of your ceremony.
